Here, we assess the betting results of The Oracle, the premiere handicapper at BeerLife Sports. We believe in sharing the details of his bets, the hits, and misses.
These recaps span Tuesday through Monday each week. Some weeks are great, some are decent, others are break-even.
At BeerLife Sports our effort is to be the most, if not the only, 100% transparent sports betting information channel.
This is the breakdown and review of The Oracle’s betting results for the week of Dec. 21-27.
Overall Grade for Dec. 21-27:
“C”
The Oracle split all his plays across the sports slate this past week. He went 6-6 on pro football and 1-1 on both college football and the NBA.
Big Hit
Missouri +7 covered against Army in the Armed Forces Bowl, losing 24-22, which cashed The Oracle’s four-unit bet on them.
Big Miss
The Oracle bet four units on Ball State to cover as 6.5-point underdogs against Georgia State in the Camellia Bowl. Ball State lost 51-20.
NFL
The Oracle went 6-6 during Week 16. He started the week with a two-unit win on the Seahawks-Rams under 47 points (30) and capped the slate with a one-unit victory on Dolphins -3 in New Orleans on Monday night. He hit both Christmas Day bets on Packers -350, which became a sweat bet at the end and Colts +2.5. The Oracle polished off his cashed tickets with a pair of “under” wins: Lions-Falcons under 42.5 points (36), and Buccaneers-Panthers under 44 points (38).
The Panthers +11 points did no favors for The Oracle’s bet on them, losing 32-6. Straying from traditionally betting unders, The Oracle took the over on 49ers-Titans and Broncos-Raiders. Both games finished under their respective totals.

NHL
No picks as the league paused its games due to COVID-19.
More NHL picks are coming, generated by The Oracle’s algorithm, as the pro-hockey season progresses.
NBA
The Oracle split two, 1.5-unit wagers. The Pistons covered as 12-point underdogs on Thursday in Portland. The Rockets were blown out in Charlotte at eight-point underdogs.
Like the NHL, more NBA bets from The Oracle system are on the horizon as pro hockey and basketball dominate the sports betting landscape by mid-February, with MLB on deck shortly thereafter.
College Football
The Oracle ventured into Bowlmania and his two plays were the Big Hit and Big Miss of the week.
