Missouri at Georgia -39 (O/U 59.5)
Georgia has been the best team in college football all season long–and it’s not close. That being said, I cannot give an SEC team 39 points. I will take the Missouri Tigers to cover the spread.
Picks: Georgia 45 Missouri 13
LSU at Alabama -29.5 (O/U 67)
Alabama has been on a roll since their loss against Texas A&M. LSU has had its share of distractions relating to the eventual head coaching change. Alabama will win easily, but I will take four touchdowns and believe that LSU will cover.
Picks: Alabama 42 LSU 17
Ohio State -15 at Nebraska (O/U 66)
Ohio State knows that their fate is in front of them. The Buckeyes are one of the most talented teams in the country, and I don’t see how the Cornhuskers can slow them down.
Picks: Ohio State 42 Nebraska 20
Indiana at Michigan -20 (O/U 50.5)
Michigan is coming off their first loss of the season against Michigan State. The Wolverines have the type of gumption to bounce back strong this week against at home.
Picks: Michigan 42 Indiana 13
Oregon (-7) at Washington (O/U 51)
Oregon will be fighting for style points for the rest of the season, to secure a birth in the college football final four. The Ducks have too much firepower on offense for the Huskies to keep pace.
Picks: Oregon 34 Washington 24
Michigan State (-3) at Purdue (O/U 54)
Kenneth Walker IV put the Spartans’ offense on his back and led them to victory a week ago. I can’t quite figure why they are only a 3-point favorite against Purdue in this spot. I will stick with the white-hot Spartans.
Picks: Michigan State 31 Purdue 21
Wake Forest at North Carolina -2.5 (O/U 77)
Wake Forest/North Carolina is one of the more fascinating games of the weekend. Wake Forest is a surprising 8-0 and are in the top ten conversation. North Carolina and Sam Howell have been up and down all season to the point that we are not sure what Tar Heel team will show up on Saturday. I know Sam Hartman and the Wake Forest offense will. I’m taking the Demon Deacons to keep their undefeated streak alive.
Picks: Wake Forest 42 North Carolina 38
Auburn at Texas A&M -4.5 (O/U 49.5)
Texas A&M has rebounded from early-season disappointment and is having themselves a season. Auburn plays to the competition. I expect a close game, but the Aggies pull away late.
Picks: Texas A&M 31 Auburn 24
Penn State -10 at Maryland (O/U 56)
Penn State is one of the more sturdy teams in the country. Meanwhile, the Terrapins have been a bit of a roller coaster ride. I’ll take the Nittany Lions to get a comfortable victory in this one.
Picks: Penn State 35 Maryland 20
San Diego State -7.5 at Hawaii (O/U 45.5)
San Diego State received its first loss at the hands of Fresno State a week ago. Hawaii is a tough place to play, but I expect San Diego State to come out looking for vengeance.
Picks: San Diego State 27 Hawaii 17
NC State -2.5 at Florida State (O/U 56)
NC State is a 1-point loss to Miami (FL) two weeks ago from being on a six-game win streak. I have zero faith in the Florida State program at this point. I’ll take the Wolfpack to cover.
Picks: NC State 34 Florida State 24
Pittsburgh -21 at Duke (O/U 64.5)
Kenny Pickett and the Pittsburgh Panthers offense have been piling on the points all season long. I see no reason why this trend won’t continue on Saturday. Duke doesn’t have enough firepower to hang with the Panthers.
Picks: Pittsburgh 42 Duke 20
Liberty at Ole Miss -9.5 (O/U 67)
I cannot wait for this one! Malik Willis vs. Matt Corral–two of the top college football quarterback prospects face one another. Neither team has a defense to speak of–so take the over. I believe Ole Miss will win, but I’ll take Liberty and the points.
Picks: Ole Miss 37 Liberty 31
Tulsa at Cincinnati -22.5 (O/U 55)
We mentioned last week that Cincinnati not only has to win, but they have to win with style to make a compelling case why they should be in college football’s final four. Desmond Ridder and the Bearcats back it up this weekend and destroy Tulsa.
Picks: Cincinnati 42 Tulsa 14
Navy at Notre Dame -21 (O/U 47.5)
Notre Dame is aware that an 11-1 season is within their grasp if they take care of business the last month of the season. Navy poses some issues for the would-be defense. I’ll take the Fighting Irish to win, but I like the Midshipman to cover.
Picks: Notre Dame 31 Navy 14
Florida -18.5 at South Carolina (O/U 53)
Florida has gone toe to toe with some of the best teams in the country. South Carolina should feel like a walk in the park. I believe the Gators cover with ease.
Picks: Florida 40 South Carolina 17
USC at Arizona State -9 (O/U 59)
Arizona State has dropped out of the top 25 and wants to find a way to propel itself back in. USC has been maddening all season long. Nine points feel like a lot in this spot. I’ll take the Trojans to cover.
Picks: Arizona State 31 USC 27
I like beer. I like football. Sometimes, both at the same time.
