Happy Monday, everyone, and I hope you enjoyed the Holiday weekend. Let’s take a look at today’s seven-game NBA slate and see what we can do with it. There is so much value to be had with so many guys out that we just need to cram it in and not overthink it. Be sure to keep an eye on the injury reports, as many things are subject to change throughout the day.

HOU (114.5) @ CHA (121)
The Hornets are one of the best matchups for DFS production, and the Rockets get to take them on tonight on the road. Our best DraftKings plays for Houston are Jae’Sean Tate, Eric Gordon, Josh Christopher, KJ Martin, and Christian Wood. On FanDuel, we’re mainly looking at Tate and Wood.
Miles Bridges, PJ Washington, and Cody Martin will all miss this one for the Hornets. This gives us excellent options with Jalen McDaniels, Mason Plumlee, Terry Rozier, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Gordon Hayward. You can always consider LaMelo Ball as well for his immense upside. The plays are essentially the same on FanDuel, although Hayward does not grade out as nicely for his price.

CHI (106.75) @ ATL (101.25)
With Alex Caruso doubtful and Lonzo Ball still out, we’ve got some good DraftKings plays in Coby White and Javonte Green for the Bulls. Nikola Vucevic, DeMar DeRozan, and Zach Lavine have upside, but none are priced particularly well. With FanDuel pricing, Green and Vucevic are the best plays here.
The Hawks are a complete mess due to the health and safety protocols. They have only eight players available to play tonight. One of them is someone named Cat Barber. This does mean lots of DFS value with Bogdan Bogdanovic, Cam Reddish, Skylar Mays, Lance Stephenson, and Gorgui Dieng. You could consider Clint Capela, but his price is nothing to write home about. All of the above applies to FanDuel, although Capela’s price is more appealing.

BOS (110.25) @ MIN (104.25)
Jayson Tatum, Dennis Schroder, and a host of others have already been ruled out for the Celtics, and Marcus Smart is questionable. With Smart projected in, Payton Pritchard, Grant Williams, Smart, Jaylen Brown, and Romeo Langford are all good plays on DraftKings. We’re mostly looking at Smart and Brown on FanDuel, and you could also consider Pritchard and/or Robert Williams. If Smart sits, other Celtics get sizable boosts.
The Timberwolves will be without their best players and a few ancillary pieces. While terrible for real life, this is fantastic for DFS and makes them one of the best teams to target tonight. Nathan Knight, Malik Beasley, Jaden McDaniels, Patrick Beverley, and Jaylen Nowell are fantastic plays on both sites.

UTA (118.25) @ SAS (111.25)
We have some decent value on Utah with Donovan Mitchell slated to miss. Joe Ingles, Jordan Clarkson, Royce O’Neale, Bojan Bogdanovic, Rudy Gay, and Mike Conley all look great here on DraftKings. All these players apply on FanDuel other than Gay being less of a value. Rudy Gobert always has upside, but his price on both sites precludes him from presenting as an excellent points-per-dollar option.
With Dejounte Murray likely to miss, Lonnie Walker IV, Devin Vassell, Derrick White, Keldon Johnson, Bryn Forbes, and Jakob Poeltl are great DraftKings options for the Spurs. Pricing is not the same on FanDuel, and no one is particularly standing out there, though most of the same guys are fringe usable.

MEM (106.25) @ PHX (114.25)
Memphis is missing a couple of key guys in Dillon Brooks and De’Anthony Melton. This makes John Konchar, Desmond Bane, and Kyle Anderson great DraftKings plays. You could also consider Ja Morant, Steven Adams, Killian Tillie, or Jaren Jackson Jr., although none are great values here. The same applies to FanDuel, with Bane and Konchar being the best options.
Phoenix is too healthy to offer us any standout value on DraftKings. The star players in Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton are always fantasy-relevant, but no one is priced super inefficiently. Booker does look pretty decent at his $8,100 price tag. Cameron Johnson and Cameron Payne are the best savings options. Devin Booker is the only real FanDuel play and looks even better at just $7,400.

DAL (106) @ POR (106.5)
With Luka Doncic still out, we have some decent Dallas options on DraftKings: Sterling Brown, Dwight Powell, Theo Pinson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Frank Ntilikina, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jalen Brunson. Brown is the best play on FanDuel, and you could consider Porzingis, Brunson, and Finney-Smith.
The Trail Blazers are missing some guys and will be an excellent team to use for DFS today. Nassir Little, Norman Powell, Anfernee Simons, Larry Nance Jr., and Damian Lillard (questionable) are all in play here. It is the same on FanDuel, although Larry Nance Jr. is not as good of an option.

BKN (108.75) @ LAC (104.75)
Bruce Brown, James Harden, DeAndre’ Bembry, and Nicolas Claxton are solid options for the Nets on DraftKings. On FanDuel, I’d mostly look to Brown, Harden, and Bembry.
Paul George and Reggie Jackson remain out for the Clippers, which gives us a lot of good plays. Eric Bledsoe, Luke Kennard, Serge Ibaka, Terance Mann, Ivica Zubac, and Nicolas Batum qualify. Brandon Boston Jr. could be considered a fringe tournament flyer with upside if the chips fall just right. The plays are essentially the same on FanDuel, although Serge Ibaka is a worse play.
