NBA DFS First Look For DraftKings And FanDuel – 1/6/2022

NBA DFS First Look For DraftKings And FanDuel - 1:6:2022

We have a nice four-game slate to dig into today, and it starts at 7:30 EST instead of the usual 7:00, giving us a little more time to pore over our lineups. Here are some of our best DFS options on the night.

BOS (104.5) @ NYK (103)

This looks like it should be a tight and low-scoring affair. There is absolutely nothing to like for Boston on either DFS site, with everyone essentially healthy. I’d avoid entirely outside of possibly large-field GPP shares. Al Horford, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum, and Robert Williams can definitely spike an upside game. They just aren’t priced well with all healthy and vying for usage.

Immanuel Quickley, Alec Burks, RJ Barrett, and Taj Gibson are solid value plays on DraftKings. Alec Burks and RJ Barrett are our guys on FanDuel. Julius Randle can always be considered across sites as an upside play, but his price is not particularly appealing.

DET (102.75) @ MEM (115.75)

Detroit may have a hard time keeping up in this one. Despite the meager team total, we do have some decent plays here. Trey Lyles, Killian Hayes, and Cade Cunningham are our best choices for DFS on DraftKings. Lyles and Cunningham are the FanDuel plays.

Memphis is likely to score more points here. We have some solid DraftKings options in Brandon Clarke, De’Anthony Melton, Jaren Jackson Jr., Dillon Brooks, and Ja Morant. Melton and Brooks are questionable. If either sits, we’ll get some value here. Nothing is as appealing on FanDuel, but Jackson, Brooks, and Steven Adams would be our top options.

GSW (108) @ NOP (105.5)

Stephen Curry should be out tonight, which means Golden State will be an excellent team to look at for DFS. On DraftKings, Jordan Poole, Damion Lee, Andre Iguodala (questionable), Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II, and Kevon Looney are solid options. Poole, Iguodala, Payton, and Wiggins are the FanDuel plays.

Josh Hart and Herbert Jones are the main guys for New Orleans on DraftKings. You can always consider Brandon Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas for upside, but neither is priced particularly well. It is a bit different on FanDuel. Although no one is a glaring value, Ingram and Valanciunas are the only players I would seriously consider.

LAC (105.25) @ PHX (116.25)

We have a matchup between the Clippers and the Suns that should skew heavily toward Phoenix. As long as Paul George and some other vital pieces are missing for the Clippers, we have decent DFS options. Marcus Morris Sr., Terance Mann, Reggie Jackson, and Amir Coffey are the best DraftKings plays. It is the same on FanDuel, although I would not consider Coffey. Nicolas Batum and Brandon Boston Jr. are questionable. If one or both sits, we’ll get a bit more value for LA.

The Suns are missing some key pieces, meaning a lot of DFS goodness. On DraftKings, Cameron Payne, Bismack Biyombo, Cameron Johnson, Chris Paul, and Devin Booker are all excellent options. Johnson, Paul, and Payne are the top FanDuel plays here. The Suns will be one of our top teams to use for DFS tonight.
