NBA DFS First Look For DraftKings And FanDuel – 1/4/2022

NBA DFS First Look For DraftKings And FanDuel - 1/4/2022

We are dealing with a five-game NBA slate this Tuesday. Here we’ll take a look at some of our best DFS options on DraftKings and FanDuel on another lovely day in the Association.

MEM (106.5) @ CLE (109)

The Grizzlies have a low team total. This is not a fantastic spot, but some key players missing due to the health protocols keep a bit of fantasy relevance intact. Tyus Jones, Killian Tillie, Brandon Clarke, and Desmond Bane are the best DraftKings values for Memphis. On FanDuel, only Tyus Jones really stands out.

Evan Mobley and Kevin Pangos are our best DraftKings DFS options on the Cleveland side. On FanDuel, I’d look to Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley mainly. This isn’t the best game overall to target, but we have a few decent pieces between both sides.

SAS (108.75) @ TOR (115.75)

Bryn Forbes, Tre Jones, Devin Vassell, Jock Landale, Keldon Johnson, Derrick White, and Jakob Poeltl are all solid options on DraftKings for San Antonio. It is essentially the same on FanDuel, although I’d be less inclined on Landale or White.

Toronto is getting healthier, and Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet are our best DraftKings plays for the day. On FanDuel, only OG Anunoby at $6,400 really stands out as an excellent option.

IND (102.25) @ NYK (104.75)

It isn’t the most fantastic spot, but a lot of value presents for Indiana with a few key pieces out. We have some nice DraftKings and FanDuel value in Keifer Sykes, Duane Washington Jr., Myles Turner, Justin Holiday, and Domantas Sabonis.

RJ Barrett and Miles McBride are the best options for New York on DraftKings. You can also consider Immanuel Quickley and Mitchell Robinson. On FanDuel, no one grades out as well, but RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson would be the top options if forced to play a Knicks piece.

PHX (115.5) @ NOP (108)

Cameron Payne, Cameron Johnson, Bismack Biyombo, Chris Paul, Jalen Smith, and Devin Booker are all in play for the Suns on DraftKings. Pricing is tighter on FanDuel, and I’d mostly look to Booker. Smith, Paul, Johnson, and Payne.

Josh Hart and Nickeil Alexander-Walker are excellent New Orleans options on DraftKings. I’d also give Herbert Jones and Devonte’ Graham a bit of a look to a lesser extent. Brandon Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas are the highest upside guys, but the DraftKings price is not pleasant on them. On FanDuel, Valanciunas is the best opinion for the Pelicans.

SAC (111.75) @ LAL (118.25)

Here we have what might be one of the better games for fantasy production on the night. Damian Jones, Harrison Barnes, Tyrese Haliburton, De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III, and Davion Mitchell are solid choices for Sacramento. Despite being essentially healthy and having a lot of mouths to feed, the prices have come down to a very reasonable level on this Kings team. The plays are the same on FanDuel here.

The Lakers have the highest team total of the night, and we have some great options for LA on DraftKings. Carmelo Anthony and Malik Monk are the top values with their current roles and prices on DraftKings. We have to always look at LeBron James and, to a lesser extent, Russell Westbrook. Avery Bradley is a savings option at $3,600 as well. James, Monk, Anthony, and Westbrook are our FanDuel plays for LA.
