Who will Laker fans blame for getting knocked out of the playoffs?

It’s no secret that Lakers fans are absolutely incensed about their favorite team getting knocked out of the playoffs, but who will be blamed for their early exit in the 2021 playoffs?

Of course one has to consider the fact that Anthony Davis was listed as day-to-day with a groin injury, but some of the responsibility still should come down on Lebron James and the rest of the squad.

Isn’t this the part of the story where Lebron James was supposed to go beast mode and rally his team back? What happened to that King James? What happened to the guy that could put the team on his back and get them to the finish?

The person that will be blamed is Anthony Davis, who struggled in Game 1 of the series against the Phoenix Suns and injured his groin in Game 5. James will likely skate as always and fans will argue for putting more weapons around him for a comeback next year.

Prediction: Anthony Davis

How many sweeps will there be in the NBA Playoffs? Over/under 1.5

Believe it or not, there has only been 1 sweep so far in the NBA playoffs, and that honor belongs to The Milwaukee Bucks for sweeping the Miami Heat in 4 games.

How many more sweeps will we see before the end of the postseason? Furthermore, is it even possible to achieve another sweep? It could be difficult given the fact that this is one of the most competitive fields in playoff history, but there are signs that at least one more could happen.

For example, the Philadelphia 76ers getting matched up against the Atlanta Hawks could easily result in a sweep after the loss of Joel Emiid, who went down with a meniscus injury earlier in the playoffs.

Furthermore, the current NBA playoff schedule makes completing a sweep very difficult, and that’s before you even consider road games versus away games.

Keep in mind that teams play every other day, leaving little time for rest or preparation. Like it or not, that’s what’s going to make something like this tricky, and will leave potential gamblers puzzled over the possibilities.

Prediction: Over 1.5

Will there be a brawl in this year’s NBA playoffs?

The NBA playoffs are a time for excitement and intensity, making it also the perfect time for a brawl to break out while teams continue to chase a championship.

There are so many teams in this playoff group that are in competition for their first championship in over a decade, which only adds to the intensity level.

Also, as time goes on and outside factors inevitably affect a series of games, it’s going to become more and more likely that players get emotional.

Again, some are competing for their first championship in a very long time. leaving little room for compromise. It also leaves teams in a do-or-die situation every time they step on the court.

Every call, every shot, even every penalty is going to whip emotions into a frenzy for both teams and fans alike. It’s how everyone handles these emotions that will matter though.

Prediction: Yes

Can the Brooklyn Nets make it to the NBA Finals?

Okay, so this is the way back Nets bench, but give them credit for being so bad the Nets got tons of draft capital.

The Brooklyn Nets have assembled nothing short of the new super team in the NBA and the sky is the limit for this squad.

There could even be an argument made that this team, which consists of Kyrie Irving, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, and James Harden, is better than the Golden State Warriors Superteam from 2014-2019.

Keep in mind, this is a team that can go all the way based on their scoring alone, but that’s not all this organization has going for them. They also average 7.2 steals per game, 6.6 blocks per game, and an astounding 41.6 rebounds per game.

That includes 31.2 defense rebounds, making them a team that can box their opponents out relatively easily. Compare that to the rest of the playoff pool and you start to see where the Nets could dominate the postseason.

Now, a case could be made for the Philadelphia 76ers or the Milwaukee Bucks to ruin their title hopes, but the Nets have a good chance of winning a championship if they can overcome those two obstacles.

Prediction: The Brooklyn Nets win their first championship

How many fans will be ejected from playoff games? Over/under 1.5

Toxic fans have always been a problem in proffesional sports and a perfect example of that was the Boston Celtics fan who was escorted out of the arena and later arrested for throwing a water bottle at Kyrie Irving

The fan was even charged with assault and given a lifetime ban from NBA games for his disgusting actions, making the Celtic’s eventual loss to the Nets even worse.

Now, it is fair to say that this kind of behavior is a rarity in most sports, but the intensity of the playoffs and fans just being allowed back in stadiums creates a volatile situation

Furthermore, with many teams competing for their first championship in years, and others for their first title in organization history, emotions are going to be at an all-time high.

This includes fans, who will be rooting for their favorite team to come home with the hardware This probably means at least 1 more fan will be ejected before all is said and done.
