Analysis

THE PROFESSOR

Hit the Jaguars +3 and Jags moneyline +135 across the pond. He also took under 47 points in the Jaguars’ 23-20 victory over the Dolphins in London. The Professor then cashed four of five Sunday point spreads on the favored Bengals, Cowboys and Packers, and underdog Cardinals. He lost Chargers +3. The Professor has Bills -5.5 on Monday night in Tennessee. Rounding out his Week 6 picks were eight-player props on two QBs, two WRs, two RBs, and a TE, finishing those 5-3.

Bad week for the Chargers, good week for the Cards, great finishes for Jags and Cowboys.

Wins: Patrick Mahomes over 310.5 yards passing (397) and teammate Travis Kelce over 83.5 yards receiving (99); Ja’Marr Chase over 74.5 yards receiving (97); Devin Booker under 46.5 yards rushing (41); Jonathan Taylor over 81.5 yards rushing (145). Losses: Ja’Marr Chase over 5.5 receptions (4); Michael Pittman Jr. over 60.5 yards receiving (35); Justin Herbert over 2.5 touchdown passes (1).

THE BARTENDER

Took eight favorites and six underdogs on the point spread for his 14-pick slate in Week 6. His favorites so far are 4-3 (Bills -5.5 pending). Wins: Rams -10.5; Packers -4.5; Chiefs -7; Cowboys -4. Losses: Buccaneers -6.5; Broncos -3.5; Steelers -5.

I picked the Texans and the Lions to cover. What was I thinking..?

The Bartender’s ‘dogs finished 2-4, hitting Jaguars +3.5 (also nailing the precise score for both teams) and Cardinals +3, both of which won outright. Losses: Texans +9.5; Lions +3.5; Panthers +1; Chargers +3.

THE KNISH

Compiled 13 bets for Week 6 that included point spreads, moneylines, total points, and a player prop. He hit twice on both the Bengals and Jaguars at Bengals -3.5 and -190 moneyline, and Jaguars +3.5 and +170 moneyline. The Knish cashed on Chiefs -6.5 and Raiders +4 and has Bills -5.5 on Monday night to cap his point spread wagers. He laid a heavy moneyline price on Rams -550 to beat the Giants. They did, easily.

Losses came for The Knish on a couple of over-under bets: Texans at Colts over 43 points (31), and Cowboys at Patriots under 51.5 points (64). He also double-dipped on Chargers +3 and +130 moneyline. For the player prop, Tom Brady over 2.5 touchdown passes lost when the lord of the rings tossed two TDs against the Eagles to kick off Week 6.
